Shakespeare has been inspiring us for over 400 years. One of the most admired polish vocalists – Stanisław Soyka – got interested in his less known, but not worse, pieces of art like sonnets. Soyka’s own music compositions became an inspiration for young artists called Cracow Singers. They created together a few a capella arrangements. They managed to create two-CD’s album in two languages: english and polish as well thanks to Stanislaw Baranczak and Maciej Slomczynski’s translations and our support. What is more, we released one videoclip to one of the performences. It’s conception was based on symbolism of the elements. To keep sonnets’ wonderful atmosphere, we introduced them into modern narration and audiovisual technology.
